FM2200 is a vehicle tracking module designed predominantly for cars, vans, small trucks, tractors and any plant equipment.

By providing location and vehicle status on a regular basis, the tracker can improve efficiencies, provide better management planning, offer greater security and save time and money.

Using the satellite Global Positioning network (GPS), the vehicle’s precise location can be obtained at regularly defined intervals. The position is then transmitted using the GSM cell phone network to your computer, via the internet, where it can be viewed in “real time” using the TAVL vehicle tracking software. The TAVL software offers the user a display of the location of the vehicle on detailed maps, together with vehicle status data.

The device is supplied with 2 sensor inputs (digital) and two outputs. The inputs can be used to sense whether the engine is running or the door is open. The outputs could be used to remotely disable the vehicle or lock the doors.

The FM2200 can be easily configured to collect and transmit data at predefined intervals. If there is a loss of connection to the GSM network the unit will automatically record the data and transmit when the connection is restored.
