MVC100 EDGE Video Camera is a compact mobile surveillance and monitoring system which captures and transmits high resolution video and single images via a standard GSM network.  

Designed to operate in remote locations where there is no land line or internet available, the MVC100 is ideal for surveillance and monitoring of remote sites or mobile assets.

Images can be acquired periodically on demand or alternatively as a result of an external alarm triggers such as motion sensors or door contacts.  
The video and or single images can be viewed either on a PC or a handheld device, and or can also be transmitted to an FTP-server and or by e-mail.
The camera requires an appropriate SIM card and a memory card for video recording the data locally.
Using the memory card recordings can be reviewed locally transmitted or viewed on the built in web server.
 
Detection circuitry is available to connect to motion infra red or contact switches. In addition a contact closure is available to switch on a local lighting source. 
The camera may be configured to record a constant video stream or make a record triggered by an event.  A common event type is an alarm related to an  external sensor to camera which can  cause the camera to upload some images.
